This morning, as I was working on my computer trying to document my plan to conquer the world, something I’ve been trying to do for several years, my daughter, Camila, came to me, and, without hesitation, gave me a hug.  In her arms, I forgot my intentions of conquering the world, and I knew myself conquered, not only by her, but by life, by the universe, whether it be internal or external.  I knew myself conquered by God and by His beautiful gift of existence, by the opportunity to be and to do.  I thought, “how easy it is to lose ourselves in vain frustrations, that don’t stop being frustrations, but lack importance compared to what is really valuable.  How easy it is to feel oppressed, paralyzed, incapable”.  One second! Well, maybe two or three or more.  One embrace! In that moment, I experienced a piece of heaven and I regained, even for a few moments, the Divine perspective.  My life has meaning!  I have a purpose!  And I can do all thing in He who strengthens me through these samples of love.

But as I was in awe with the pleasure of the moment, I comprehended that there are many people who, be it by their own decision of burning bridges, or by unjust circumstances, or because they lacked the experiences necessary to develop a full life, don’t recognize their daily blessings, blessing in disguise, miracles mixed with reality.  They don’t appreciate the Divine hidden in nature that gives us meaning and reminds us of our purpose.  Therefore, I decided to write and share my experience, that although personal and simple, I believe is worth sharing.  Because, as we are blessed, we should bless.  And as we receive, we should give.  I know this is a corny and over utilized phrase, but your life has meaning… your life has a purpose.  Find it!
